The attack on Russian athletes continues. World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) refused to reinstate Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA), and although this decision alone cannot affect the participation of the Russian team in the international competitions in 2018 in Pyeongchang, but threatens to be the first step towards prevention. Earlier, representatives of foreign sports federations have repeatedly called for the removal of the Russian national team from any competitions at the international level for an indefinite period due to doping scandals. Why did we deserve such an attitude in the world (most Russians see this "sports witch hunt" as a political engagement) and have there been such cases in the history of Russian sports?

“The talks about the non-participation of our Olympic team in the Games are undoubtedly part of a massive information campaign to discredit our state, its prestige and authority, which is expressed, among other things, in sports victories and achievements. Russia is one of the most prominent sports powers. The situation with WADA and RUSADA is politically motivated and committed, therefore it is necessary to consider the problem as a whole.Russia is perceived not as a partner who had difficulties in the field of anti-doping control and who needs help in the current situation, but vice versa- as a party that, despite all the attempts and efforts made to rehabilitate itself, must be disqualified, removed and not allowed to the main sporting event of the four years,- speaks to Nakanune.RU nikita Danyuk, Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and Forecasts, RUDN.

Experts note that there are problems with doping in all countries, there are no more such cases in Russian sports, and in some disciplines - much less than in other teams. It is strange that the informational stuffing and the main high-profile proceedings begin the day before Olympic Games, long ago transformed from a sports competition into a field of political clarification.

So, for example, we still at times Soviet Union it is familiar that the participation or non-participation of teams was often determined by the international situation, which contradicts the very meaning Olympic Games, introduced in Ancient Greece with the condition of an armistice of all the warring parties for this period.

In 2016, the tense situation made us recall the experience of 1984, then the USSR and most of the countries of the socialist camp held their own, "alternative" Games called "Friendship-84". This was a response to the boycott by the United States of America 1980 Olympics in Moscow... This year, WADA's decision could lead to the suspension of the entire Russian team from participation in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Why does the world sports community constantly make decisions not in favor of Russia?

“This whole scandal was originally started precisely in order to push our country out of world sports, and it is clear that the impetus for it was the tremendous success of the Russian Federation at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi,- speaks in conversation with Nakanune.RU political consultant, analyst and TV presenter Anatoly Wasserman. - Therefore, I have absolutely no doubt that we will be hindered not only in sports, but in everything. With a blue eye, they will proclaim outright terrorists in Kiev and Raqqa as white and fluffy democrats; that they will declare their athletes drenched in doping, "clean", and ours will be declared doping. We must finally admit that we are not dealing with conscientiously mistaken, but with deliberately lying, and plan our actions taking this circumstance into account. "

"Discrediting Russian sports and preventing domestic athletes from participating in the most important international competitions- this is just the tip of the iceberg. After all, attempts to put pressure on our country occur in many areas, primarily in financial and economic: these are illegitimate international sanctions, extraterritorial laws that allow USA to carry out restrictive and punitive measures against not only Russian companies, but also foreign enterprises that deal with our state (for example, in the field of energy, in the military-industrial complex). [Western countries] are constantly trying to destabilize the situation along the perimeter of our borders, increasing the number of military contingents NATO in the Baltics and Eastern Europe, expand the infrastructure for the deployment of missile defense systems. This is nothing new - the attitude towards Russia, no matter what it was called, at any period of history on the part of geopolitical opponents was quite typical. Here you cannot talk about "loved" or "not loved" - each state pursues its own goals, and too often Russia, for one reason or another, got in the way of the interests of the Western world.

"The problem is that for a long time we did not consider this collective West our enemy, and moreover, we even tried to fit into it,-

Several days are left before our great national holiday - Victory Day. Oddly enough, but for many years on this day at the official level, the name of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief, under whose leadership the Great Victory was forged, Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, was not mentioned at all. This great statesman, who created from peasant Russia a superpower with a powerful economy, possessing the most powerful army in the world, who created the state's nuclear shield, thanks to which Russia is still feared by our enemies, and who laid the foundations of the first space flights, has been unjustly forgotten. His name is hushed up primarily due to the efforts of the pro-Western fifth column that occupied our media, and the West hates the figure of Stalin solely because he made us strong and forced us to reckon with us on the world political stage.

There is a huge number of completely delusional myths about Stalin, which many ordinary people take seriously; the image of an allegedly bloody tyrant is hammered into people's heads, despite whose efforts the people won the Great Patriotic War. Debunking Stalin as the leader of the army and state began during the reign of Khrushchev, thus Khrushchev N.S. tried to raise his authority in the eyes of the people.

One of the first military myths about Stalin is that Stalin allegedly destroyed the entire color of the Red Army before the war, beheading it, and for this reason the Germans reached the Volga itself, and the war lasted almost 4 years. In fact, in the Red Army there was a conspiracy of the military, whose goal was to overthrow the existing government and establish a military dictatorship. This conspiracy was led by Marshal M.N. Tukhachevsky, who held the post of deputy. People's Commissar of Defense for armaments, in addition to him, such high-ranking military as the commander of the Kiev military district Yakir Iona Emanuilovich, the commander of the Belarusian military district Uborevich Ieronim Petrovich, the head of the Political Directorate of the Red Army Gamarnik Yan Borisovich participated in the conspiracy. They were arrested in 1937 and subsequently sentenced to capital punishment, except that Gamarnik shot himself. It was already after the completely unjustified rehabilitation of these people by Khrushchev that everyone somehow forgot that there was a real military conspiracy, and the elimination of its participants was a necessary measure to ensure the defense capability of our state before the outbreak of World War II. The participants in the conspiracy had long-term contacts with the German General Staff, and during the investigation, Tukhachevsky laid out on paper a plan of defeat in the war with Germany. The essence of this plan was how the participants in the conspiracy, while in their high positions, would sabotage the organization of the resistance to the invading German troops. If Stalin had not destroyed the conspirators, the fate of our country could have been completely different now. There was no need to look far for examples at that time - in 1936 General Franco staged a military coup in Spain and, with the support of Germany, seized power.

There is a myth that Stalin allegedly "slept through" the beginning of the war. It is not true. On the eve of the war, the situation was very difficult: most of the intelligence said that the war with the USSR would begin after the war with England ended. To declare openly a general mobilization, for example, in April 1941, means provoking a war in April, in addition, the West could also accuse us of provoking aggression. In any case, the German army was ahead of us in the speed of deployment of troops and in any case would have been in a more advantageous operational-tactical position. Preparations for the war were going on in secret: partial mobilization was carried out, troops under the pretext of exercises moved to combat positions, a partial evacuation of state bodies began from the border zone. authorities, and on June 16 - 18, 1941, encrypted messages about a possible attack by German troops began to go to the troops. The fact that not all commanders have brought the troops to combat readiness is not Stalin's fault.

In particular, the Wehrmacht achieved the greatest success in the first days of the war in the zone of action of our Western Front, which was commanded by Army General Pavlov D.G. It was the aviation of his front that turned out to be on June 22, 1941 without ammunition and fuel, the artillery of his front was brought to one place the day before and almost in its entirety fell to the enemy without firing a single shot. The troops subordinate to Pavlov, for the most part, were not withdrawn to combat positions, and it was Pavlov who added to the coded message about bringing the troops to combat readiness, which came from the General Staff, words about not succumbing to provocations and not opening fire on the enemy. Perhaps, in the actions of Pavlov there were echoes of the Tukhachevsky conspiracy, and perhaps his actions were explained simply by unprofessionalism, after all, Pavlov came to the post of commander of the Belarusian military district from the post of deputy. head of the armored department of the Red Army, and these are completely different positions. As a result, the Western Front, possessing 44 divisions, having an approximate equality with the German Army Group "Center" in the number of aircraft, one and a half times superiority in tanks, but yielding in manpower and artillery, fell apart in 5 days. Subsequently, General Pavlov quite rightly, along with a number of other generals of the Western Front, was shot. Commander of the Air Force of the Western Front I.I. He shot himself on the second day of the war, learning about the losses of his aircraft.

It was extremely difficult to fill the gap in the central direction as a result of the collapse of the Western Front, so our army was forced to retreat, being surrounded and suffering losses, and it was possible to extinguish the offensive capabilities of the Wehrmacht only near Moscow.

If we talk about preparations for war, then Stalin began to prepare the country back in the mid-30s, having created enterprises in the interior of the country that were backup to the main factories located in the western part of the USSR. Then, in the second half of 1941, military industry enterprises were evacuated to these backup enterprises, which would certainly have fallen into the zone of occupation. Stalin was preparing the country for war when, in the fall of 1939, he returned to the USSR, using the politically advantageous situation, Western Ukraine and Western Belarus seized by Poland in 1921; when in 1940 he returned the Baltic states to the USSR, depriving Hitler of an excellent springboard for an attack on Leningrad, Moscow and for cutting off our troops in Belarus. He was preparing the country for war when, in 1939, he began a war with Finland that was disadvantageous to us in order to move the border away from Leningrad. This war was, of course, an aggressive one, but the Finns then pursued an ardent pro-Hitler policy, they were ready to provide their territory for the German troops, and themselves to participate in the campaign against the USSR, and Stalin, as the head of state, was obliged to think, first of all, about our national interests. ...

Only fools and scum can argue that Stalin did not prepare the country for the war, "overslept" its beginning.

On June 30, 1941, Stalin became Chairman of the newly created State Defense Committee, and on July 10, he became Chairman of the Supreme Command Headquarters, i.e. From the first days of the war, Stalin took responsibility for organizing the defense of our country against the interventionists, he exercised leadership not only of the troops, but also of the military economy of the state. Stalin knew the needs of the fronts (and their number in 1943 reached 13) in military equipment, uniforms, personnel, etc., knew the capabilities of our military industry and distributed the available forces and means himself. If, for example, we talk about the battle of Moscow, then, despite the difficult situation at the front and numerous requests from the commanders to send reinforcements, it was only thanks to Stalin's iron will that we were able to accumulate reserves and on December 5, quite unexpectedly for the Germans, to start a counteroffensive of our troops. As a result, the Nazis were thrown back from the capital by 150-200 km, after which the myth of the Wehrmacht's invincibility was finally destroyed.

In 1942, on Stalin's initiative, a railway was built in a very short time, along the eastern bank of the Volga, along which the troops defending Stalingrad were supplied and reinforcements were brought in. Without this railway, the successful defense of the city would have been impossible, because war is not only battles, it is also the solution of complex logistics problems for organizing the supply of armies.

Stalin took part in the development of absolutely all military operations. Operations plans, as a rule, were prepared by the General Staff and considered at meetings of the Supreme High Command Headquarters, where the front commanders were invited without fail. At these meetings, adjustments were made to the plans, however, how the military operation would look in the end depended on Stalin. As a result, 1942 -1943, we inflicted a terrible blow to the Wehrmacht at Stalingrad, destroying the army of Paulus, then at the Kursk Bulge, destroying a large number of motorized units equipped with the latest models of tanks and self-propelled guns "Tigers", "Panthers" and "Ferdinands", freeing the Eagle , Belgorod and reaching Rostov. Then, in 1944, the Red Army carried out brilliant offensive operations that went down in history as the "Ten Stalinist Strikes", after which the Germans rolled back to Berlin. The Berlin offensive began on April 16, and on May 2 the Berlin garrison had already successfully surrendered, its resistance lasted only two weeks. For comparison, we fought for Stalingrad from July 17 to November 19, 1942, for almost four months (directly on the outskirts of the city - about two and a half months). And all this took place under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

Stalin also made a great contribution to the development of military technology. The activities of Tukhachevsky, who was responsible for the armament of the Red Army, led to the fact that by the end of the 30s we had a huge number of light tanks (BT-7 and T-26), without having a sufficient repair base for them. There were heavy tanks (T-35 and T-28), but they were extremely inconvenient in a constructive sense, since they had a large crew, weak armor and a weak cannon with a huge tank. The most massive fighter I-16, which was then in service with the Air Force, was already obsolete. There were no orders for the supply of anti-aircraft artillery, mortar weapons, machine guns to the army. And only often thanks to Stalin's personal intervention before the war, such samples of military equipment as the T-34 and KV tank, the ZIS-3 divisional gun and the BM-13 rocket launcher ("Katyusha"), the Pe-2 dive bomber and the Il-2 attack aircraft were created. ... During their retreat near Moscow, the Germans called the IL-2 the "Black Death".

In the end, Stalin nominated our great commanders of that time to the highest military posts, who led the Wehrmacht together with Hitler to the grave: Rokossovsky K.K., Vasilevsky A.M., Konev I.S., Govorov L.A., Malinovsky R.Ya., Tolbukhin F.I., Chuikov V.I., Katukov M.E., Zhukov G.K. Of course, these are not all great commanders.

Stalin had two sons, Yakov and Vasily, both of them went to the front with the rank of junior officers: Yakov (senior lieutenant) was the commander of an artillery battery, most likely died surrounded by Vitebsk in July 1941, although it is believed that he was captivity. It was about him that Stalin said the phrase "I am not changing a soldier for a field marshal." But Stalin did not actually say such a phrase, it was invented by the directors of the Soviet epic "Liberation". German propaganda tried to betray to the world the fact that the alleged leader's son was in captivity, but not a single clear photograph of Yakov in German captivity exists, if he really was captured, I think all German newspapers would be full of various photos of Yakov Dzhugashvili. Vasily Stalin met the war with the rank of captain and was a squadron commander, in 1943 he was appointed commander of a fighter aviation regiment, and ended the war in Berlin.

As a conclusion, we can say that without Stalin we might not have been able to win, or won with immeasurably large losses - the Supreme Commander-in-Chief performed too much work, and it is difficult to name who could replace him in all spheres of his activity. The article is written very briefly and, of course, not everything on this topic is disclosed. Maybe someone will be interested in all this and learn more complete knowledge for themselves. For example, Stalin never said the phrase "No man - no problem" - it was invented by the writer Anatoly Rybakov, and he himself later admitted this more than once.

And yet, moving away from the theme of the Great Patriotic War, I just want to list the achievements of the Stalinist era, which are known, but which are not associated with the name of Stalin:

  • Reform of agriculture was carried out, production of agricultural products was increased;
  • The industrialization of the country has been carried out: thousands of industrial enterprises have been built (including Norilsk Nickel, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Combine), the foundation of modern Gazprom, Lukoil, Sibneft, etc. has been created, mineral deposits have been discovered;
  • A gas pipeline was laid to Moscow in 1946, and then gas pipelines were connected to other large cities;
  • The metro was built in Moscow;
  • The Soviet Union Football Championship was organized;
  • Mandatory secondary education has been introduced;
  • Public libraries, theaters, parks have been created;
  • New Year celebration introduced;
  • Victory in the Great Patriotic War was achieved, in 4 years all the destroyed cities were rebuilt and the economy was restored (in fact, the European part of the Soviet Union was rebuilt anew);
  • The state's nuclear shield has been created;
  • The prerequisites for space flights have been created (in particular, under Stalin, the development of the first artificial satellite was carried out);
  • The population of the USSR increased from 148 million. (in 1927) to 197 million people. (in 1952);
  • The previously lost territories (the Baltic States, Western Ukraine, Western Belarus, the Kuril Islands and Sakhalin Island) returned to the USSR.
If we talk about modern, then since 1992 - the Soviet Union collapsed, thousands of enterprises were destroyed and bankrupt, the education system collapsed, the army collapsed, the state's nuclear shield collapsed, the population of Russia has decreased by about 16 million people since 1992.

And while the liberals still dare to talk about some kind of "Stalinist repression", although in the 90s the number of prisoners as a percentage of the total population exceeded the number of prisoners in the 30s.

When you listen to the speeches of the Russian opposition, the act of Stalin, who shot most of the Trotskyists, ceases to seem so monstrous.

In these disputes, everyone goes berserk,
demolishing the past mockingly.
The writings of historians are getting fat
but only one thing is certain:
he lived in the capital il on the outskirts,
ate pheasants or croutons,
but the Shenderovichs under Stalin,
in a row "lay down" near the wall.

Liberals all consider how much Crimea cost Russia. It is necessary to recall the 90s and calculate how much the liberals cost Russia?

Once Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin decided to call Mikhail Ivanovich Kalinin. He picked up the phone, dialed the number and got to Tver by mistake.
- Is that Kalinin? - asks Iosif Vissarionovich.
- No, Tver, - the deceased head of the city answers.
- Strange, - Iosif Vissarionovich was surprised. - I thought, Kalinin. And he hung up.
From that time on, the city of Tver became known as Kalinin.

I'm going home drunk. The grandmas at the entrance hiss:
- Drunkard! Stalin is not on you!
I answered:
- And on you - Raskolnikov.

Georgian actor Mikhail Gelovani was very similar to Stalin and repeatedly played him in feature films of the 1930-1940s. Stalin liked the way he looked on the screen performed by Gelovani, and therefore the actor was repeatedly forgiven for such words and deeds that few others would have gotten away with in those days. During the filming of "The Fall of Berlin" (1950) Gelovani, when meeting with Stalin, said that in order to get a deeper understanding of his image, he would like to spend a week or two at Stalin's dacha near Lake Ritsa.
At this, Stalin only grinned and replied: "And in order to create an image, isn't it better to start with the Turukhansk exile?"

An old football fan was asked:
- Who would you like to see as the senior coach of the Russian national football team?
Hiddinka, Spaletti, Semina, Gazzaeva?
- Stalin.

Once Stalin met a grandmother with empty buckets. "Bad omen" - thought the grandmother.

When Comrade Stalin smoked, the Ministry of Health did not blather.

Stalin invited Zhukov to play billiards. Zhukov won three times in a row. Stalin says: "So, they tell me correctly that you are badly leading the troops. Apparently you roll all the balls ..."
Zhukov's hands were shaking. And he began to lose over and over again. Stalin looked at him and said: "You are bad at the front and you don't know how to play billiards!"

Pensioner Petrova on an excursion to the Wax Museum for three hours
complained to Stalin about life.

Stalin at a meeting in the Kremlin:
- You shouldn't be so, comrade Beria, we have very good doctors. Take,
for example, professors.
They were taken that same night. This is how the "doctors' business" began.

Lenin dies and calls Stalin to him.
- I am very worried, - says Lenin, - will people follow you?
What do you think, Comrade Stalin?
- They will, - Stalin answers, - they will definitely.
“I hope,” says Lenin. “But what if they don’t follow you?”
“Well then,” Stalin says, “then they will follow you.

In 1942, Joseph Stalin became the Person of the Year according to the Time magazine.

Quote from the magazine: "... Not a step back! .. 1942 was the year of blood and strength. The man whose name means steel, the one whose English vocabulary includes the words tough guy, is the Man of 1942. Only Joseph Stalin knows how close Russia was to defeat in 1942. And only Joseph Stalin knows how he managed to save Russia. Joseph Stalin won. He is that tough guy ... ".

Stalin talks to Churchill:
- Nat.
- Nat.
- Nat.
- Nat.
- Yes.
After the conversation, Poskrebyshev asks:
- Comrade Stalin, how did you agree with Churchill?
- And he asked me if I can hear him well.

WHEN FATE FOLLOWED US, LIKE CRAZY WITH A SHAVE IN HAND ... This unexpectedly fatal finale of the beautiful verse "First Dates" by Arseny Tarkovsky, magically voiced by him in the film of Andrei Tarkovsky's son "The Mirror", has recently often come to memory in connection with the events in Ukraine. Most likely because the prophetic poet's warning about "a madman with a razor in his hand" is involuntarily and easily associated with the actions of the ruling elites of the West - at the same time very much like the behavior of an elephant in a china shop - with regard to Russia and Novorossia. Now, apparently, the last reserves were used: harsh criticism and sanctions threats against Russia at the G20 summit in Australia quite expectedly coincided with the decisions of President Poroshenko on a complete blockade of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, which was immediately supported by the escalation of hostilities. Apparently, we will have to forget about the Minsk agreements and peace talks. The highest political community of the United States and the European Union, despite the objective and convincing arguments of President Vladimir Putin, does not want to understand three simple things: first, we will never leave the people of Novorossia in trouble; secondly, Russia cannot be broken by any sanctions and pressure - we are spread rot, and we are getting stronger; thirdly, Putin's paradigm of a new world order, voiced at the Valdai Forum, rallies an increasing number of supporters in the world, becomes a real and, most importantly, an irresistible counterbalance to aggressive Western hegemonism. And these "crazy" would-be politicians are only now becoming finally clear that they have driven themselves into a dead end, from which they want to get out with the least image losses - hence all the anti-Putin and anti-Russian hysteria.

On the Donetsk-Luhansk land, the Kiev regime and its famous patrons crossed the last line that separates humanity and humanism from the atrocities of barbaric lawlessness. The crimes these "madmen" commit every day are still fueled by hopes that will never come true. They are relentlessly replaced by animal fear and the awareness of the inevitability of a just punishment for the mass terror and genocide of the civilian population. Many other ardent supporters of the "Maidan revolution" also have a belated epiphany. A year ago, on the squares of Ukrainian cities, they were ready to die for the "European choice", and now, almost a year later, they are convinced that Ukraine has not only not approached European standards, but has slipped to the level of underdeveloped African countries. The other day on the air of Lviv television, the well-known presenter Ostap Drozdov said that the average pension after the "revolution of dignity" is only fifty euros. “This is Africa! Level of Africa!” He exclaimed and addressed the next question to the Kiev authorities, which his fellow countrymen would like to ask. "A lot of people, especially on the eve of the anniversary of the revolution, have a question: people died for Europe, but ended up in African conditions, where nothing changes, where an ordinary person has one task - to survive, feed, pay for services and, God forbid, not get sick because it is too expensive, "the TV presenter said. By the way, President Poroshenko has established another new holiday - the Day of Dignity and Freedom, which will be celebrated on November 21, the day the events began on the Kiev Maidan. On this day, the capital of Ukraine will host various "events" - not festive, but memorable.

Citizens of Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics differ from Ukrainians, about whom the Lviv TV journalist spoke, in the following way. They, gritting their teeth tightly and gathering all their will into a fist, every day fight off the attacks of brutal punishers, repair mines, factories, housing, boiler houses, substations, schools and hospitals broken by shells. Every day they bury the dead, treat the wounded and sick, take care of veterans and children, do everything to provide people with heat, water, medicine, food and humanitarian aid from Russia. They do not ask questions about their pensions and social benefits from Kiev, because they already know about Yatsenyuk's humiliating decision to stop this funding and direct funds to their own needs. For them, Poroshenko's decree on the socio-economic blockade, the abolition of the law on the special status of the region, the termination of the work of all state institutions, including banks, in the territories of the republics of Novorossia was not new. They do not have to compare their wealth with African countries, because they live with hope for their power, elected on November 2, and are confident that it will not leave them in trouble. They work tirelessly, help each other and know that they will never go into slavery to the Kiev, American, German and other newly minted colonialists-fascists. And today, when in faraway Australia, Russian President Vladimir Putin is telling the truth about the real organizers of the Ukrainian tragedy, he suggests that everything be resolved by peace as soon as possible and - the only one! - guarantees further assistance and support to Novorossiya, residents of Donetsk and Luhansk are confident that they will overcome all difficulties and hardships and everything will be fine for them. As for the blackmail and threats against Russia, we will refer to the well-known Stalinist remark: "IF OUR ENEMIES CHALLENGE US, IT MEANS WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT ..."
