For the third method, an ordinary pipette is required, from which the rubber tip is removed. With a round side, it is inserted into the nostril of the newborn so as not to harm his mucous membrane. On the other hand, one of the parents inhales air through his mouth. This makes it possible to quickly and easily release the baby from snot. However, you need to do this carefully so as not to create too much pressure in the nasopharynx, as a result of which bleeding may begin.
The fourth method involves the use of a small enema. For greater effect, either cut off the tip or remove the plastic tip. It is necessary to release the air from the syringe and insert part of it into the baby's nose, then let the enema fill with air. In this way, you can suck out some of the mucus that prevents the baby from breathing.
Also, with a runny nose, it is recommended to often clear the baby's nose, but no more than five times. This can be done using sea water (Aqualor, Aquamaris, etc.). It promotes the elimination of fluid and the release of the airways.
